ok....last blog was in Feb!! I'm doing great with this blogging thing!! haha My first blog was about managing my time w/ all the things on my plate....obviously I'm handling that well...NOT! lol But I'm still trying! I haven't taken the time to sit down and blog, I've thought about it many times, but it seems like something else always gets in the way. But, I've come to realize that sometimes it's best to "take a break" from things. It is so easy to get overwhelmed by obligations and all the things we say YES to. The trick is to organize it all so that you don't get overwhelmed, and to say no once in awhile! I'll take any advice in that area! LOL On a good note....I am getting closer to finishing my novel! VERY excited about that! It has actually been finished as far as writing the story...it is all the other endless details that come with it. Such as, writing the bio about myself, which is so hard to do for me AND make it seem interesting! lol Then you have to write the blurb about the book and make that sound enticing in about a paragraph. Then there are also the acknowledgements, and dedications...and so forth!. The cover has to be designed and the layout of the book has to fit the format that amazon requires for the novel to be printed correctly. Brad (my fiance) is my cheerleader! He sparked that fire back in me that I let dwindle for about 3 years. When I first got the passion to write about 7 years ago, this book was something that I could not stop even if I wanted to. It was like I was possessed! I was constantly writing...at kid's ballgames...in the car driving...(which was not very safe I'm sure!) I'd find myself writing on store receipts, on Kleenex boxes...anything I could get my hands on. I'd wake up in the middle of the night and have to jot down thoughts on paper. However, after going through a divorce...that all kind of died down. Other things took importance...like working to survive! If anyone has gone through that dreaded "D", you understand. My focus shifted for a time, but as I have found in my own life...everything has a season! It is good to feel passionate about things again...not only writing, but lots of other things as well! I'll be posting an excerpt shortly for anyone that might come across my blog!

Don't worry so much, what He has started He will finish. He will give you every word you need to write and how to design that cover. You're in good hands and it's not
